about me
Hi! My name is Wania Khan and I am an 18-year-old Pakistani-American photographer. I am in awe of the essence of photography and how with just one click I can capture a special moment in someone's life. The camera itself is what intrigued me at first with its various settings. Then quickly, I fell in love with being the artist who creates the moment with her magical device. Each person has an aesthetic and when I photograph it shines through their smile and my pictures. I started slow with just friends and family and then suddenly I was on the floor at weddings capturing the bride and groom and booking senior portraits for students at a different high school. I officially decided to launch Shoots by Wania and I want you to be a part of my journey!
Why I Love What I Do
A big part of why I love what I do is what it brings others. One thing that pushed me when I was learning and continues to push me as I further my work, is the admirable and emotion-filled responses that I receive. Photography, among others, is a form of art that can make people feel a range of emotions. Whether it's feeling powerful in your presence in a solo shoot, feeling loved in a couple or family shoot, or feeling accomplished by a brand or senior shoot, I am here to make it happen!
